Who am I?
I'm MalwareHuntress, and I've had a passion for malware and Cybersecurity since a very young age. While I have no formal training on the subject of Cybersecurity, I do a lot of research on my own time and it's a hobby of mine to find and test various types of malware.
What is this blog about?
In this blog, I aim to tackle on viruses, trojans, worms, and other security threats with posts that are geared towards a general audience. We will view these threats from the perspective of the average end user, with simplified explanations of behavior so anyone can understand what is happening.
Key points each post will cover will be:
- Installation/First time run of malware
- Showcase of behavior
- Explanation of the behavior
- Removal or Uninstall process
How often will new posts be made?
Currently there is no set schedule. This is done entirely with my free time, and a proper analysis of malware samples cannot always be done within a few hours. I will try to make posts as frequently as I can, though, so be sure to check back often!
